Not much of an update (still waiting on wheels) but hope everyone had a good holiday. I got this in the mail.

Then proceded to cook out for the fourth and after a few beverages, decided to ruin the car.

Well while im waiting on some time off from work, Im HOPING that the new wheels will have a similar fitment to the ones I had on my E30. If my maths are correct, it should be close.

Every time I go to an ALMS race I always shop for stickers... because who doesnt like stickers right?

So I put a few on: No they are not crazy, or scene, or even NOS stickers, but its the best I could do without going back to Pep Boys.

And any sort of Rally sticker needs to go near the dents right?

Well my original, turning to dust shift knob, literally fell in half/came off while driving. Not a terrible deal, but no shift knob just feels honda. In my thoughts of "damn it, its going to take forever for one to come in the mail", I realized they sell shit knobs everywhere. Pulled off the road and into a fancy tuner shop known as Pep Boys. They walls were stacked with shiny objects and go fast parts.

I scored a genuine imitation delrin drift knob for $12!

It will work until I order a new one. (Or keep and save my money for some other sweet parts I saw in the tuner shop!)

Now, Im a fan of bumperless E28s, always have been (unless you have a euro front or other fancy, unobtainable clip) but I **** the bumper mount holes, and the just general nature of "somethings missing" since it is... Also, all of my undercoating/rock protection/texture is speckled with the original white coming through, so I decided before it got dark, to try and clean up the industrial warehouse look of the front end.

    Before:

    After:

The dents are still there, but man, anything is better. This weekend im going to attack the rocker panels and get them back to a smooth coat of black also.

STILL WAITING ON THE BOAT FROM POLAND TO BRING MY WHEEEEELLLSSZZZ

    Eyemazing update with no pictures.

I have four new (matching sized, non dry rotted, air holding) tires on the car.

Wow! Hope you guys/gals can handle the progress.

I appreciate it. Im looking forward to it as well. Now that all of the "hard" stuff is taken care of, im pretty much going to focus on the cosmetic side of things now.

    Shadow line EVERYTHING
    Headers and exhaust
Get the wheels on and ride height sorted. (no I will NOT slam the piss out of it)
The drivers seat bottom is pretty haggard, so Im either getting one "racing" seat, or two vintage recaros (this most likely)
Juice up the interior with some pretty things.
Figure out what Im doing with the front of the car. Thinking of fabbing some sort of "duck bill" style lip for the front since the bumper is gone.
Any anything else that comes to mind while I work on her.

Should be tastefully done to an extent and I guess depending on "your" taste.

Ill try and keep it updated.
