i like this a lot! this car needs a stained-glass rear window, and 40 grit the black trunk panel.

Was there a reason to rat it out? I don't think it looks bad, but I liked it much better with the paint and it looked(From the pictures) to be really clean.

This is sweet because there are enough "clean" Miata's. Rarely do you see someone rat out one of these. What did you do to get that look on the trunk? It looks kinda bronze-ish. Future plans?

You've got to do something about the bumpers, plastic and rat don't go together too well

Get them replicated in sheet metal or something.

I actually really dig this. I was a little scared it was getting rusted, but not as of yet...

It took over 40 hours with a wire wheel to get it where it is now (still needs more work) Yeah the hood took the longest because I had to use paint stripper only!

Main reason was that I do not like the red at all and the body was far from perfect with bad bondo spots and bent/dented up fenders from it being wrecked by the previous owner.

I appreciate that man this was my exact thought because at first I wanted to make it into a clean miata but then there are so many out there that I figured I should do something a bit different. The bronze color just came from natural patina after taking the paint off and letting nature do what it does to it till it gets to a point that I like and I will clear coat it! So many future plans right now I just need to get smaller tires for the front so it can go lower in the front that and skid plate setup are my main steps that need to happen real soon!

That was what I really wished at first but then I kind of want it to have the best of both worlds with not full rat look and still having it look clean and taken care of! I kind of like that the plastics are black because it makes the hardtop flow better and pull the look together in my opinion. Its going to be a car that people will love or **** haha!

              Thanks for all the comments!

Thanks man! I thought about doing it but the body is too rough and polishing it would make the dents and holes stand out really bad! haha Also the hood is aluminum so it would never match the polished steel!
