  • Dat Rat Raw Miata

    Recent photos-

Bought this from a roommates co-worker with only 68,000 miles on it. She thought it had some wiring problems. I replaced the alternator and battery and it runs like a dream! After that I replaced the Timing belt and water pump on it. Now it has just became a project to take up any of my free time!

    Day one!

Bought a hardtop with broken glass for cheap!

Made a window of lexan and a window visor!

    Polishing the hood soon!

My friend does a lot of machining and has a lathe in his kitchen. He helped me make a titanium shift knob!

    Polished the hood a bit!

Relipped the rears with 3 inch lips!
-7 offset in the rear and -1 offset in the front!

    Rear lip!

Out with the old in with the new to help with the overheating problem!

    Went to the beach!

My friend Eric welded on some skid plates and we drove to Colorado!

Skids plates for the oil pan and the frame rails!

    Smaller tires 195 45 15!

This thing is cool, what do you plan on doing next to it?

Read the title and i thought it was gonna look like shit, not gonna lie.

I like it though. Great work man. Get the hood to match the body and it will be even better.

I like the styling but it almost needs a little bit more than just the metal look. I would go as far as to take it a step further and do something really unique like Nakawatase-San’s War styled S14. I'm not saying copy that style, but using it and an example. It does look good, and i am sure you have more plans on it! Just my thought on the car.
