That metal thing that wraps around the shock body? I'm installing e90 top hats sometime to gain half an inch of suspension travel/low might as well do that while my shocks are off the car.

Yeah I took the plastic sheet under the engine off a long time ago and I've shaved those mudguards in front of the rear wheels about in half. My finder liners are nearly cut in half
I'm on style 95's with 5 inches of ground clearance so you guys must have it a lot worse

That roof rack was pretty rad. Also I may one of the few to say that I actually like the 17's

    Update..7/2/13

So i ditched the rack, wasnt feeling it, went moar low by trimming the sleeve where the bottom of the coilover slides into the hub, also gained suspension travel by doing this, so the car is smooth now no longer bouncy..anyways shitty update but I've had to pay some bills..next week is front spacers

I wonder if theres any static e39's out there that will pinch a nickel to the gound? If so i feel sorry for them, cause i slap reflectors as i switch lanes..

try bolting in the wood slats on the roof rack from the bottom so it's lower to the roof

Loving my 17's..minus the fact they're not wide..would never put 19's on mine..wouldnt be as low

18s would look good aswell, but not the look im goin for, these are real bbs wheels that came with the car..i would think the quality is top notch

e39's really need 18-19's. you could easily get a set of oem wheels for not much more than what you are spending on all these little things here and there, and it would look much better overall.
    quality>quantity
