took the front bumper off to fix a few of the bumper clips, because they were broken.

    Thanks guys!

We are still trying to get the front down a little bit more, but the drivers axle just binds like crazy, and the wheel wobbles... :/

Golfs with jetta fronts look good. Jettas with golf fronts look awful.

its so easy to do! haha. you literally just have to unbolt everything, and swap.

    started a topic 03 Getta

    03 Getta

hey guys. im posting this up for a friend of mine. ive put in the time for it, so its only fitting. haha. but, here are some progress pics of it.

this is the way it started out.

first off, we decided to lower it.
got a set of raceland ultimo coilovers.

then, swapped front ends. on christmas eve.

the day after the front end was put on, we hit a dear, and the front end was ruined. had it fixed, and back the next day. no pics of that.

then we installed some polyurethane a arm bushings, notched the frame, and installed a set of euro image 1" motor mount spacers to save the oil pan.

found a good set on a set of wheels/tires/adapters. so it finally started to look like a typical vw.

    wheels are corvette sawblades.
    17x8.5 +26 front w/ 205/40/17 tires
    17x9.5 +36 rear w/ 215/40/17 tires

    20mm adapters.

    then with them finally on.

and a few new pics from the other day/night.

its kind of a slow build, but its getting there. this is all through about a 6 month process. but there WILL be more. =]
Working...
