Some old car that will never be low enough - 2002 content
Well I got a wild hair and pulled the dip off a few days ago. Decided it was time to start prepping for Eurowerks with a new color. This time I'll be going much deeper into body work by sanding the car way down to really get it lined out. Here is where I'm at currently.
Pulled the car out the other day to wash off the dust, still a ways to go but its coming along. I've also decided to paint the car this time instead of doing plastidip. Can't wait to have it all finished in time for Eurowerks.
Keeping the progress going on the bmw. Plan to get more done tomorrow after work. Its slowly getting there and with each day I get more excited that it will have fresh paint soon.
Well the garage where I was going to be painting is currently full with a car that won't run so my dad has to see what is up with it before my car can be moved over which has delayed things while he waits for parts.
But today I got a box of OEM bmw goodies, trim for the top of my door, rear quarter under the window and the piece for the b pillar. Mine were pretty trashed so I decided to dish out the cash for new pieces since I couldn't find any decent used ones.
Keeping the fun going on the Sonoma as I finally found a blanket at good will for a seat cover. Still trying to find other ways I plan to ruin this truck lol.
The to the main attraction, finally have it primered and wet sanding has begun, can't wait to get this car back together.
And a shot of where we shaved the mirror and rear side markers off the car.
