Well, Ive decided Im going to go wider, probably with a set of spacers. Might run slip ons for the time being, then upgrade to hub centric if I want to go wider. Will Roll and pull my rear guards sometime.

Been thinking about some new wheels in the future: These are the ones I was thinking of...

So an update (kind of)

So Ive adjusted my rears down as far as the thread will let me.....and nothing has happened. Its still the same height it was when before I adjusted it.

Its frustrating as hell, can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong? Or is that pretty normal?

I have bluelines in my focus atm. Got them put in and had to get a shop to compress the rear spring from the coilover to get them to sit lower otherwise I would have the same problem as you.

Good work overall and nice progression..Id go with the salad shooters because as you said the factory specs are nice and wide and they look badass polished compared to style 5's which look great but are pretty cookie cutter

I did the naughty naughty and chopped a little bit on the rear springs, which sits perfect at the moment, thats just a temp fix, Will find a solid rear setup in the future.

I saw a set of salad shooters, and I think this particular set was like, 16x9.5 or something (cant remember offsets) Im going for clean OEM look, I reckon the salad shooters will perfect the car, alot.

So, the idea for 2014 will be:
-New wheels/ paint my current m5 wheels factory silver
-new boot, paint roof and touch up other bits
-aftermarket camber plates, camber arms and new control arms and balljoints
-new interior
-maybe a bit of engine work
Thats the plan!

I got offered a set of X series wheels, Fronts: 19x9 Rears: 19x10, Only problem, I live in Queensland, and they are located in Victoria. If I drove and picked them up, it would be a 17hour round trip....Would be keen...but I **** driving long distances aha.

Havent had really much to update on this much at all.
Before Christmas, I got ticketed for being too low, Unfortunatly that cost me $220 and 3 points, so the car is in "project" spec at the moment, with my other bmw 17s on the rear, and the front raised.
Basically I have been thinking about Air bag suspension, as that way, I can still have it low, but i can raise it and drive it on the street high. Static, will no doubt get me into more trouble ahah.
The things Ive got to do on this thing are the Following:
Interior
Suspension (control arms, bushings and ball joints)
Paint
and other bits such as Stereo crap.

Basically I will have my daily on the road soon, Have a mate that can hook me up with a cheap road worthy certificate.
Then once that happens, the BMW will be off the road for a while (still registered) but it will end up being my weekender.

No pictures, but I will put some up sometime.

Well an update sort of:
This car is now off the road. Unfortunatly due to the mechanical problems its come to this.
I have no idea what is wrong with it, maybe the head? something in the cooling? Its currently in my garage collecting dust. Trying to figure out the next path it will take.
I did how ever buy a new car. A 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer VR, reliable daily that still is good.
I don't want to give this car up, I want it to be something special.
I'm either thinking a drift car, manual conversion to the current m44, to learn in and then maybe on to something bigger? Sr20 or rb motor?
Or
Air bags, clean leather interior, frame notch? re-co motor? Show car spec. Chances are, i wont be able to register it, as its known to police and that i couldnt afford it anyway.
