Looking forward to this. I love e34s. I'm also super jealous of the Tundra. I want one so bad.

    A little progress

You can also see the fine craftsmanship done by previous owners.

Little weight reduction. A filler panel will be welded in.

The factory finish was probably really nice. After seeing how these things were treated not so much anymore. In thinking when I refinish them ill do a brushed look and leave them raw looking.

Picked up a new toy that I've wanted for awhile.

    Not a bad fit

Somehow this managed to stay in the bumper.

And last but not least finally got this in the part washer. I only have a 12k press and I pushed it to the limits getting the last control arm out.

Keen to see where you go with this, you obviously have skill judging by the work you've done previously. I'm sure you'll get this right! Good luck.

I'm good at taking stuff apart. You can see it was hit at some point. It will be pulled back out before the fender goes back on.

Wheel well will be washed and then por-15ed to keep it clean. Trying to keep this a budget build so new control arms won't be ordered till next month.

I removed the side moldings today and they will be welded smooth with patch inserts. Hope to start on that tomorrow.
