Thanks for the input. Plans change in my head constantly so I'm just gonna try to post what I do rather then what I plan to do. Big dreamer.

Most of the parts out of the way. Still doing research to decide on what control arms to go with. Coils should be here the 11th. I didn't know they were drop shipping them from Japan.

This is going to be good. What are your plans for the motor, suspension and interior.
Wheels are sick bud. Love them.

What kieth said. Battery fits under the back seat, change the tb and water pump if m20b25.
Pick up some ecodes to get better lighting. Not depos, not Chinese eBay tyc, both are complete garbage. Get real ecodes, used, for the same money or less.
And if your fogs aren't broken yet, get lamin-x. They take a lot of shots from road debris.

Why not put the battery under the back seat where the later e34s have them? You can find the hold downs at the junker. Looks like a decent start. If you dont already know, m20s have some known issues. Change the timing belt and water pump asap if you arent sure when it was done last. Also dont be shocked if rocker arms start breaking. Its common with higher mileage

Oooh, M-Parallels, nice wheels.
And of course it's a money pit dude. BMW actually stands for "Break My Wallet."

Megan racing coil overs ordered...then back ordered.
Bc coil overs ordered and waiting on them to arrive. Piecing together control arms, tie rod ends and more solid mounts. Started messing with the engine bay. Battery will be tossed in the trunk. Tray and windshield washer reservoir removed. Ac will be deleted as will the power steering. This is becoming a money pit

E34 budget project in the works
First post here. Just picked up an e34 525 for a budget build. Plan is to make it simple, and clean.
I'm new to the stance game but have been reading the threads and am very impressed with the caliber of the work done here.
Previously I had an a4 with custom paint, interior, big turbo and engine goodies and suspension. I wouldn't considered it stanced based on what I see here but it was pretty low for the euro community. I had a ton of fun and learned to do a lot of stuff with that car. I did everything myself, all paint work and every stich in the interior. I refuse to farm out work. Too cheap.

Right now my daily is almost stock except for a wrap I did.

And without any more the delay the project. Picked it up for 1500 and it already has 18" m5 wheels. The suspension is shot and looks to be some sort of aftermarket that has got to go. Hopefully I'll be posting up a lot of mods as I go but I prefer to post what I've done rather then post what I say I will do.
