Got quite a bit done, shifter is in at both ends, worked out how to route the rad hoses with the inline filler, throttle cable is in, rad is mounted, managed to get the battery cables from an E36 from a scrappy.
Managed to get the lighting loom down one the the chassis legs too.

I should be getting a lot of deliveries next week. I'd forgotten it's bank holiday weekend, so worrying about being able to get everything in time. No chance I'll be able to mount my wheels for Edition if I even get it in for MOT!

    I'll post some pictures soon!

I hadn't done any MIG welding before I did this, I'd done a tiny amount of stick welding around the farm but that it completely different. Just have a go!

Been really busy not working on my car... Did manage to order or full second hand coolant hose kit from a corrado though, as well as an inline filler neck with cap. I was going to get a top fill rad, but thats proving difficult. Got some 16v hubs, carriers and calliper too. They should do for now until I have the money to upgrade to 280mm discs.
Will hopefully be able to get on with some bits later on today inbetween spraying bumpers etc.

Finally finished the wiring, apart from some fine tuning when every thing is done and the battery cables are sorted. I was going to order a top fill rad today, before I realised that the coolant hoses fit on the wrong side, so I'm stuck again, the one on the e30 is closer, but still one of them is the wrong side. Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers guys, appreciate it!

Just got a massive chunk of the wiring done as well and primered a bonnet for a friends Mk3. Having a break then going back out to see how close to finishing it I can get. Apart from a couple of bits of multi core that I am waiting for in the post and the power cables. Great to get some progress again.

Watching this with genuine interest, can't wait to see it all come together and look epic. Oh, and it is going to go like the clappers too!

Wiring is shit no matter what car you're working on.

This wiring is killing me... Running out of time for ED38. Still need to finish the wiring (having troubles with a crappy order) Sort out mounting the battery and washer bottle, brake lines, fuel lines, accelerator cable, clocks, radiator, coolant hoses, and getting everything back in the car. Not to mention brakes and wheels -_-

    Best get going now.
