Finally an update.




















I pushed as much as I could to make it to a Royal Orgin meet here this past weekend, and well, I made it happen. I drank too much celebrating to remember much, but happened to find a few photos of it.








The color is matte 1956 Corvette Red, which has a strong orange hue to it (That I didn't account for, but it's growing on me.) I figure if I totally decide I can't live with it, I can always go back through this hell and change the color again.

This was from the other night, I managed to get the entire car broken down last night with the help of a friend.

Ordered my new wheels yesterday, and they are scheduled for delivery next Wednesday.

Going to continue to sand and scuff every nook and cranny of my car, and then prep it for paint. Hopefully getting everything dialed in for paint next weekend.

This will be a fun learning curve, I'm sure.

Finished up the body work, got it primed, just need to block it down now.

Took advantage of the downtime, and had a good friend of mine that runs his own upholstery shop come pickup the upper half (a/b/c pillars, headliner, visors, etc.)

Had everything wrapped in black suede.





Next up will be the seats.

Haven't had much time, so last night I spent a solid 30 minutes or so and laid down filler over the arch. Most likely tonight I'll get it all finalized and primed. Hopefully.

Sadly last Tuesday my car was backed into. The damage wasn't awful, but It's more of a pain in the ass then anything.

Night of.


Peeled back the vinyl.


After a little sanding, and hammer and dolly action.


Currently dealing with some other headaches associated with insurance ordeals. (His insurance is paying for everything luckily.)

In the next month or so, I'll have a ton more updates.

New front suspension, new front wheel tubs, and of course, new wheels.

In other news, I also ordered new head lights. Haha.

im not bagged yet still stock, buying another 444c compressor, i have a 3 gallon tank wanting to build a false floor. wouldnt mind the drive up to phoenix though.
