so yesterday i bought new wheels and did a bunch of maintenance including swapping in the solid motor/trans mounts i bought. turns out that's a shit plan.

just ordered new poly motor/trans/subframe/trailing-arm bushings.

that'll be about it for spending $$$ until i sell some more VW parts. but i have plenty of parts to install. pics when i get something interesting done.

pics of wheels after coils come in. offsets are perfect, but the gap is atrocious. back on my shitty reps til then.

and i'll be selling it as soon as i remember to make a FS thread somewhere.
how exactly is it that i removed it "hastily" if i don't like it and it's my car? i would understand the use of the term "hastily" had i used a hammer to remove it. (which i did not)

so i've been super swamped with a little travel, a bit more maintenance, and a shit ton of work (at work).
but i got the coils on. there was a hiccup with too much penetration (we've all been there, eh? wink wink) of the lug bolts on the new wheels, so the stud conversion is on order and will be here this week.
here's a shot from the weekend. still on my shitty reps, fenders still not rolled properly.
skidder will be here wednesday for more lows.

i'm losing the banner across the windshield as soon as my boss breaks out the steam machine. i'm going to have the rear redone as it's super-booty looking.

the new skidplate is sitting on my porch AT HOME (people don't read the whole email...just the part where they get money). it'll be here shortly, and installed before i go home tonight. i'll have pics up shortly after.

thanks. i suppose it'll be up to 45 now. very helpful. i can't decide if it's going on the type a's when i get back from IA (47), or if it's going on the garbage ass bottle caps so i can sell the borbets and reps in hopes of affording some decent RSs (49) by h2oi. i'm also trying to decide if i want fatboy 15s or not-so-fat 16s.

boo. my summer schedule has been just about frantic. hasn't been this hectic since the summer i got married. once it gets closer to h2oi, i think (hope) my schedule will clear up a bit. maybe kel and i can make a day trip out to see you dudes.
