so i've had a million VWs over the last 20 years.
i most recently had this.

it ate 3 multi-disc clutches in 10k miles, so i decided to part it out.
decided to something different and picked up this.

2.5L m20 with a 2.7L bottom end
Schrick 272
Limited Slip
ported head/intake
Dinan chip
terrible wheels
Bilstein shocks
[soon to be cut] Vogtland springs
leaky valve cover gasket, trans tail seal, axle seal
terrible wing (hastily removed, leaving 6 holes in the trunk)
lots of tint
leaky exhaust (with Supersprint headers and Magnaflow muffler on opposite sides of the leak)
e36 M3 shifter
i have never owned a proper rwd car before, so this is a decent place to start.
plans include:
-shaved bay
-massive, static drop
-solid mounts
-raised driveline
-poly/heim everything
-wheels
-decluttering of the car in general
-lots and lots of burnouts/donuts/hooning
new motor & trans mounts, brakes, valve cover gasket, throttle cable, driveshaft center support bearing, coilovers, trans output seal, diff seals, and a whole host of other bits already ordered and on the way.
i have to finish parting out the VW (this weekend) and then the BMW build will begin in earnest.
updates to follow.
