Hey there!

My name is Boris and I own the 1991 VW Golf GTI.
Here are some photos





The clearance is now 30mm. JOM Blueline coilovers are installed.

Wheel specs:
Schmidt Modernline 14x7
Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 155/55/14

The engine is stock PF- 1.8 liter 8 valve with 109bhp.
The brakes are also stock.

Bought it in December 2012, rolled all winter with 5cm clearance on Moscow roads, then got Schmidts, tried to fit 175/65 tires on them, it looked quite good and sporty but I had to roll the fenders really hard, so I decided to get a better set of tires, so I got 155/55 Kumho.

The car is used daily, going about 150km per day.

My plans are to swap a 2E motor, shave the engine bay, shave the body, install Recaro SR3 and the rear seat from Corrado, get a full leather interior, install Nardi Deep Corn black/black. Then get some car audio in, because how it sounds I don't like at all

Bluelines are not bad, run them without helpers, rebuilt them twice, gonna change them to KW v3

if speaking about budget coils- take TA Technics instead)

During summer changed Schmidts' to VW Motorsport 15x7 цшер 195/50 Dunlop tires, car became higher but I don't care.

Crashed it a bit, repaired and continued daily use.

Tried different wheelsets, moar photos coming soon.

Then made it to the storage mode and put into the garage, doing my army service right now

Also, plans changed, I've nearly finished with 2 liter 16 valve turbo motor, bought some Porsche brakes and ordered a roll cage. Soon will get Toyo R888 tires. So it's going to become a track/city racecar. Gonna paint it ultrasuperblackyblack.

Lifetime project for sure.
