My name is Stefan and I'm from Holland,
I got a build thread in the Dutch section and now the car is taken some shape,
so i guess it's time to put a build thread here !
It's a 320D From 2004 and my daily I drive around 20K KM a year (don't know how much miles that would be)
So this was the way I bought him from a BMW specialist.
So I started with some small things till the 6 months of guarantee ended!
after that I installed some V-Maxx XXtreme coilovers
Just lowered the front a bit more, but i don't have any pics of it
Then I bought some Style 42 BBS in 18'' they needed to be polished again ,
I got 3 polished, but 1 wouldn't shine as nice, so I brought them to a polisher,
and I assume they where 100% straight , but they weren't so they needed to be straighten out first.
Then he started to polish all the wheels and took out some curb rash ,
and the same wheel wouldn't shine again he tried a few times and even brought them to a other company to trie and look,
but it looked like some chemicals was bitten in
So I decided to spray the lips , first they needed to be sandblasted with pearls (or how you guys call it)
then they saw the problem they restored the wheel with alu repair stuff
So it blasted some of that stuff away and needed to be filled,
After al this crap I got them back like this !
The color is copper metallic , only couldn't get a nicer picture with my phone, so on the pic it looks like brown
Took a test fit of the rear wheel
only problem is the tire's I need to choose
Front is 8'' ET20 and I am thinking to put some 205-40 on it,
Back is 9'' ET24 and I am thinking to put some 215-40 on it.
Or maybe some of you can give me tips here
And have a lot of plans with it,
next thing would be a Yakima faring
