Another BMW E28 - This Time From Australia

The next part of the build - front fitment.

I wanted to increase front camber to get it closer to the rears angle. Nothing you can buy that would achieve this.

So I bought another set of BC top hats and had them machined out on a Milling machine by a friend. If it wasn't for the missing paint it looks factory.



Took them out as much as possible without having to notch the strut towers (about 1mm clearance to centre strut nut)

From my measuring I can get the front to -5 degrees with ease now.



New outer lips for the fronts will be ordered in the next couple of days!

Jesus fuck dude. This thing is absolutely amazing! And considering you originally got 3 e28's for 650$ (which works out roughly £360 GBP) that's crazy. I'd be lucky to get an e28 shell in the Uk that needs some welding for £1000 (roughly 1800$ AUS) I want this so badly it hurts me inside

The bimmer has been on daily duties for the last month. Been great enjoying what i've spent so much time building.

This weekend I finally got the front looking how I wanted it. Had the front lip for 18 months, finally it is restored and fitted.

Its amazing how much better the front looks with a lip . looks prime

I ended up just figuring it out myself.

Certainly makes a lot of difference. The standard bumper is quite boring. Can't wait to get it sprayed!
