Sooooo I guess I'm apparently a sucker for really crappy compact commuter chevy cars. My main project is a saturn, but just wait it gets worse.... This is the satty, but hey what's that sexy subcompact dream machine parked next to it?

That was one of my best buddies car. He decided to move back to England to continue school.


This is where the car turned from okayish slightly ricey, to giant wtf mode. The next owner did everything possible to destroy the car.....

This is with the hood actually somewhat straightened out with a hammer

Both headlights are toast

Don't forget the back bumper, wouldn't want to miss that

Didn't even know you could break that....

Oh yeah and now that the outside is rough lets ruin the inside and wreck every wire in the car. Hell lets remove the radio oh and get rid of the airbag wires too...

Anywhoo, I've always thought this car could be made cool with some fixes here and there. So being a retard I bought the car for cheap as a secondary. So far I removed the stickers, got rid of the tinted tails and have fixed a few things up.

Got a new bumper from the front that still probably could use a respray


Oh and it's got n interior now! Ill get more pics later on. Also picked up a new head unit and a 10" sub for it.

Great thing about the car is it already has coilovers. It will soon be fixed up and slammed as low as possible. First i need to get it road worthy.

Looks like an interesting start. Once I cut the coils on my intrepid ( I will get there one day, maybe next year) I will need to drive to Calgary and we can do a 'strange stanced' photo shoot lol

That's on my list! I'll se if I can get some flat black vinyl tommorow. Black pillars will deffinitely smarten up the look of the car

Sooooo hey radio wires, how's it going? Ya you guys just chillin'.....

Got this mess all soldered up and heat shrunk together, didn't get after pics tho.. Meh

And I finally have seats and seatbelts again!


I really shouldn't be that excited about having seats again but it makes the car 100000000000x easier to work on with them in. Tommorow I will work on swapping out ruined plastic interior bits, install airbag wiring, get the drivers side marker light working, install radio, fix the wiring for the front speakers, possibly make a spacer for the door speakers as they stop the window from fully opening, oh and possible window pillars too.

So far I've only spent $672 on the car (including the cost of the car) which I can't complain about at all.



I may get around to shaving the signal lights below the headlights and integrating them into the headlights themselves. Also I may have found the perfect set of wheels for the car

I would like to see some pontiac wave badges on this and the insides of the headlights(except for the necessary reflecting parts) blacked out to give it a more mean look. It reminds me of a hamster.

Are you going to shave the side markers as well as the front markers?

Side markers on the fenders will stay, I like em. Sidemarkers on the back bumper will be shaved, back bumper needs a respray anyhow. Front headlights will be done similar to this

So another day, another adventure into the land of possible electrical fires and other semi somewhat disasters.
Started with these weird wires under the dash.

That led to the door jamb

Super awesome speaker wiring job dude that's mad tight. So I got that stripped out and fixed only to find that the speakers stop the windows from opening all the way. This was a major problem as women find men with properly installed door speakers 20x as attractive. I had to work fast! So I built me some speaker spacers, bitches love speaker spacers.


Aaaand crisis diverted. All you single ladies get at me

Got the radio almost installed, still waiting on the dash kit.


Swapped out the glovebox, old one had glue from the carbon fiber vinyl on it and it would not come off.


And here's the sub, just a 10". I'll build some sort of box for it. Ignore the dirty ness

On a serious note, how do you expect the speaker to sit in the door panel with it spaced out so far?

Who cares about weight savings, it's a GIANT chick magnet
Already got the door panels back on, seems like gm designed the panels to have a ton of space where the speakers are. Thanks it is a pita but it'll be a fun little car once it's done
