Since i first saw an fd at a local autocross event i fell in love with them. At the time i was still in high school so i had to settle for a 99 miata.. it was a fun car but it was lacking a lot of things such a power and respect. I got tired of the miata after a while and decided that my next car would be an rx7, so i sold the miata for cheap and found a really good deal on an fc. 1k for a turbo II on mint condition sold it picked up a flyin miata for cheap, sold it and found this gem in south carolina. I ended up paying 5500 for the shell since they guy thought it was not a real yellow rx7, looked up the vin when i got home and found out that i payed 4000 less than what it was really worth since it was a original r1




first thing i did was lower it a little, take off the ugly headlights and the wing




look on craigslist one night and saw an old guy selling rx7 parts so next morning i was at his house.. walked away with new wheels for $700 with tires



made a deal with my little brother and swapped him for his wheels that were wider
18x9.5 +22 265/35/18 front and back




Then i made i my daily so it stayed the same for a while..



Did a couple bolt ons such an apexi power fc, a single turbo and small things here and there.. then i ended up in shine autos website

bought the re amemiya pro style diffuser , feed style sidesteps and the feed style bumper

My craigslist luck ran out one day.. saw a greddy front mount for $150 so i had to jump on it

dont know how i didnt catch it but the guy jammed a bold in there.. from when i picked it up and installed it i never heard anything rattle and it looked new so i didnt bother to clean it out. Drove 40 mins to school without a problem but on the way back when i hit 15psi i destroyed the engine and turbos.

nearly spent 3 hours trying to get a tow truck and taking off the diffuser and bumper to get the car on



Then the tarp went over the car and it sat for a year.. i had big plans for it so i was not in a rush. I flipped a couple cars and made some money and pulled the tarp off to bring it back to life

ill update it more later but as off now this is how it sits waiting for paint
