They aren't gimmicks. They actually change the aerodynamics of car quite a bit when at speed, and the aws makes it so the whale doesn't understeer so much.



Your car do what you please, but I was just wondering why someone would get rid of the AA and AWS. Usually people say that it was broken or it would cost too much to fix.

First time I ever heard it to be useless hahaha.

I love the look of a wingless 3S and the downforce when the wing poped up was minimal. And deleting the AWS shaved about 40lbs from the "whale" lol. And have you ever drove a car with AWS? To me its a wierd and feels not natural when at speed and the back wheels activate and the car feels like its going to oversteer.

I have back in 1998, it was a sunny day on the high speed ring. The 4WS definately helped me ride the wall on turn one at 240mph to win the race.


I still want to see one of these slammed with wide wheels, but we can leave that for a non-VR4 that isn't so cherry to begin with. Your car is nice, good blend of form and function.
