Like has been said, that fart can is just out of place on an otherwise clean, stock car. I understand being broke but that just means saving what little bit of money you get for worthwhile mods. I'd like to see where this goes.

      Hey folks,

Firstly, I apologise for still not slamming the car But here's where I'm up to now...

First up was to relocate the battery to the boot. Bought myself some hench 0 gauge cable and got the seats out.

Took off the induction kit and laid the cable in the right place:

Through the car and into the boot:

Also took out the spare wheel for now for more subwoofer space:

Then that allowed me to get a new piece of hose to relocate the air filter like so:

The battery's just tied in the boot at the moment, but I'm going to get on with a boot build once I get my subwoofer(s)

Then after a few instances of overheating on the hot days when stuck in traffic, I figured I could do with a new radiator. I took the old one out and it's, well, fucked.

Then I ordered a nice shiny new one from Coolex in Nottingham who I highly recommend:

While I had the radiator off, I thought I may as well do something to the hoses, and since I couldn't find any silicone ones, I decided to braid them.
      Before:

      After:

      New radiator in:

      Current state of engine bay:

      Still very messy..

Then it was time to paint the wiper blades.

Here's what they looked like before, very worn:

Painted them up in satin black, complete with flat blades, looks much better I think.

Then adjusted the sit of the exhaust AGAIN, gave her a clean and got a few pics:

      Thanks for looking!

      Felix

This thing is so clean, and the exhaust isn't my test but I love the rest of it. Can't wait to see this thing lowered.

Exhaust looks better, but I still don't think it looks good. FWIW my coworker has a black 3rd gen with dual 2.5" tips and it's absolutely perfect. Looks so badass, tucks nicely into the rear bumper, and all that jazz.

The fart can is just out of place on a classic car like yours, especially if it's not packing a gigantic turbo or something. At the pace your project is moving, that exhaust will look out of place for decades. Not knocking your style or anything, just have to throw my opinion out there. It's a nice classic car in mint condition, if you were my friend I wouldn't have let you do that!

Yeah i appreciate your opinion but I have an image in my head of what it will look like once finished and I promise once it's lowered the exhaust will look a lot better. Until then I can just enjoy the sound

                        I have a 3g for my DD=)

I dig everything besides your exhaust. It will most likely look better when the car is closer to earth. I dislike that we don't have any cheap coilover options. I have been told that cut springs don't ride too horrible, and I have seen many super low just doing it.

I know, the cheapest available over here in england are £650, which is over $1000!

I've heard a couple of people running cut springs, but apparently the spring seats can separate too far in negative Gs or when jacking up, so it's really dangerous!

I feel bad posting on Stanceworks without any stance yet, but for anyone who's interested:

I've been painting the rocker cover

                                Here's the engine bay beforehand:

I took it off, and was happy to see that 25 years and 85000 miles has had no effect, it still looks brand new under there!

I scratched off any loose paint:

Then got the paint stripper on it:

All masked up and sanded ready to go:

                                Bought myself some paint:

A day and a half later:

Then I sanded back the logo for some nice shiny Honda goodness:

Meanwhile I gave the HT leads a bit of a sprucing up, before:

                                After:

                                Engine bay before:

                                Engine bay after:

                                Total cost: £10.45

                                Thanks for looking!
