  • Stanced Luv Build

I am recently starting my 1977 Chevy Luv project.

Here are 2 pictures of it, how it sits now.
The torsion bars are cranked down all the way, and in the rear it has 3in lowering blocks.
I plan on painting it white this summer.

I'm wanting to have my wheels stick out of the body.

    What are your thoughts?

I picked up these today, they are 16x8s.
I'm hoping they look good on the Luv.
I want to paint them gloss black.

By the way, am I uploading these pictures right?

Luv looks good. Are the new rims Blazer/Rally wheels? When you sell the current wheels you should get a decent chunk of change back... those are Western Turbines.

Yea they are Blazer wheels, I like them a lot more then the Western Turbines.
I'm planning on putting the money I get from the Western Turbines right back into the truck.

I would start checking for a size stamp on those rims, they are chevy rallys for the squarebodys (73-87) and they came in 15x8 not 16x8, I have a set on my '80 k10.

I'm relieved you told me this, I didn't want to have to cut a lot of my bedsides off.

It's better to use something like photobucket and use img tags on here. But it's not a bad start. I'd like to see one done up right.
The only thing lower than my standards is my truck.

                  Build thread!!!
