Damn! Nice truck dude, I want to bag mine so bad. Care to show/send pictures of your rear bag setup?
Also I really like those wheels and am excited to see all four mounted up.

Your welding skills seem superb. I love this vehicle...so jelly I can't find out around here. Are they extremely rare? Diesel Rabbit is hard enough, I can't imagine the truck version being easy to come by...very sweet build.

New carpet, headliner, seats that match, full body strip, and re do strut towers in full, Classic wood bed flooring, possible euro bumpers, motor rebuild, different air managment, MAYBE swaps down the road.... we'll see... Currently looking for a daily, so I can start this work... Haha.

Full airlift suspension set up including rear, Air is mounted under the bed, 5 gallon tank, 1 280cc viair.
Raised upper struts
Heres my truck:
Had her for 4 months, Trucks been doing well very reliable and a solid runner, doing many distance trips. Getting prepared for SoWo. I was going to keep my plans under wraps, but I'm too excited.
I've been practicing my welding skills and taking a class locally, already patched up the floor pans, inner fenders, etc. Car had the worst rust I've seen to date, but I don't want it to die. The bed and a few random little spots are coming up next.
Wheels: I have landed some Hoshino Impul D-01 14x6, et 17 welded 3 piece. As far as my research has taken me (online anyways)... no one has ran these yet on a mk1. I sourced some 155/55/14's Achilles. A lot of people might not like these, but it should be really exciting.
Here are the first shots of the rears... Front's aren't squared away yet...
Thanks for looking, stay tuned for updates.Last edited by Deborah_Rufilin; 05-22-2013, 10:50 PM.Tags: None
