Hello guys,
Let me first introduce myself. My name is Pascal and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm 20 years old and I'm still at college. When I had my driving license for three weeks, I decided to buy my first car. When I saw this one, I wanted it too much. The car was pretty cheap and in a good shape, so for me it was a begin of a fun project. The progress is not that fast, because I'm a poor student with not that much spare time
This was the car when I bought it:
Pretty boring, but a good start of something nice.
I've installed the following things:
- TA Technix Coilovers
- 16 inch Borbet A Wheels with 195/40/16 Hankooks
- Smoked rear lights
- Yellow headlights with orange signal lights
- Fog lights
- 2x 10 inch magnat subwoofers
- Excallibur amp
When it was lowered:
Not bad but,,, still a long long way to go
Then I bought some cheap rims:
Borbet type A
16'' 7,5j ET35
They looked really awfull when I bought them. The owner started the sand them, but needed money so he sold the rims. A nice opportunity for me to start a wheel project.
This was the best looking of the 4:
I couln't decide what color to make them, so I did some fotoshopping.
I had in mind to polish the edges, but when i started sanding, it just was too much work. So I decided to paint them white. I think thats looks the best at green.
Affortunately, at one night, a friend of mine couldn't watch out, and rammed my car. His car wasn't dammaged a bit, and my car was ravaged. After three months I got a little bit money, just enough to got it repainted and then....
We had a fire at home... Our Carport burnt down, with my car in it.
I was there just in time, to safe my car from totally burning down.
This is the result:
2 days after that, I found a door at a scrapyard that almost had the right color
I decided to not put the wheels under untill it was repainted. The wheels were just lying in at home, waiting to get under the car. I just could'nt wait. Here a pic of a little stretch:
In the meanwhile I thought I should make my fog lights yellow:
And finally,,, it got back from the painter!
I was home for half an hour, and the wheels were put under ready to shineee!!
Things I want to do:
- Lower the car more
- Window tinting
- side skirts
- Other exhaust
- Racing seats
- US Lights
- Seat Logos painted white
This is it for now. I'm getting on to the lowering next week I hope.
If you've got some tips or ideas, bring it on!
