Months later and now the Equips have moved on.

Just as you thought i had an important update! Nope...haha.

These are the 18x9.5 +24 fitted up on the rear. I had 18x10 +22 fitted in the rear and 18x9.5+24 up front but didnt have them on long enough to do a shoot :/

Photos of the new shoes coming soon :P Work VS XX with 3 inch dish.

Heres a photo of the Altezza with the NT03's fitted. I also fitted my coilovers recently. The car isnt as low as its going to be but i am waiting on the VSXX to arrive before dropping it.

Fair enough man, its a damn mess over there. Im out in North Canterbury but i work in the CBD (what is left of it).

Yeah i havent had any experience with 35's yet the lowest i have had are 40's but my VSXX come with 225/35/18 Falkens so it should be interesting...

A mate of a mate of mine has an e46 on 19s in Christchurch with 30 or 35 profile and he is quite low and i haven't heard of anything breaking yet haha.

Haha yeah. Im pretty bad for being image heavy so generally the threads are long.

    @Gazinator

18's in Christchurch are fine tbh man. The only down fall is when you have as much poke as the Equips had on the Altezza is so impractical to run them as if i was to hit a good sized pothole (everywhere) then my guard would go ping and it would be a $500+ fix.

Luckily it didn't happen...However on my S15 i did get a large flat spot in my D1R's as the alloy didnt stand up to a pothole at 85kmh.

How do you find Christchurch streets on 18s? I'm at the crossroads trying to decide which wheels to cert for my e36.

Equips looked boss but I think the gold of should look mint with the blue of the Altezza.

    Finally an update!

So after months of being peppered with offers from people for my Equips and some rubbing issues over and over with the Christchurch roads (post Earthquake) i sold the Equips. A happy and sad day haha.

Not to worry though! I managed to snap up some new shoes :P

18x8.5 +19 all around. They have the same amount of dish as the 18x10 +38 model of the Work Equip VS XX. 3 inches of dish should suffice for now

I also managed to get a steal on some Enkei NT03's as my back up wheels.

Off topic, but it may be of interest. Recently i got into Grass Kart racing. For those of you that dont know what it is exactly it is pretty much a SupaKart with the small 100 odd cc engine taken out and replaced
with a 2 stoke or 4 stroke dirt bike engine. I currently have a 2 stroke kart (powerband yeeeah boy!) that gives the 250cc + 4 strokes a good run for their money. 140kmh odd (85mph) in a Kart that is 4 inches off of the ground is damn good fun.

Anyway, heres some pic's incase you were interested.

Oh and here is my better half doing a wheelstand...gotta love a modified KTM 2 stroke dirtbike engine in a little Kart.

Photos of the VS-XX on the Altezza and lowered will be up some time next week

Oh yeah...and that! :P i will be giving the whole car a good buff and polish.

Nope, nothing special to show about the S15 sadly it was left pretty much bone stock standard (daily driver since i was 15 years old). I will be selling it in the next few weeks also.
