Damn! Every time I see a gc around here they always are run down driven by some middle aged mexican woman, and the car has peeling paint, cracked bumpers, and is caked in dirt.
Now I see the light, looks tits that smooth hood makes it so classy.
Got a new hub knuckle, it's all on but it is like the drive shaft isn't seating properly. Too dark now, so will head out early tomorrow morning to sort it out.
It's funny, I don't get any photos of me actually doing work.
Love this car my mate had one as his first car, never looked as good as this though
Is this manual or auto not sure if has been said before? Also if you ever sell this you should let me know
It's manual, and I won't be selling anytime soon. It needs an engine swap soon I reckon. Can't wait to get dug into that!
Hopefully I'll have the driveshaft all seated properly in the morning, can't wait to drive it with the new front fitment. Need the notch badly still though.
lol @ defective vehicle sticker. this is an awesome GC8
Aha yep, S|W Aus hoodie is the goods.
So, I fixed the problem. It wasn't actually the driveshaft that was causing the problem, it was simply the backing plate rubbing on the rotor and causing the noise. So all fixed. This is how it all sits. I now have 12mm spacers up the front.
