Figured a build thread might be worth the introduction. (I'm Ian btw)
09' Volvo C30 T5 6spd, Polestar tune, catless 3" test pipe. FK Streetline Coilovers are in the mail, however sitting on 1.5" M2 springs with a dead coil removed from the rear to avoid some rake. Wheels are 19x8.5 / 19x9.5 LM Reps. 235/35 all the way around. I'll let pictures do the talking.
First Day picking her up, and trading in the old S70
A lot of plastic
Wanted to test fit the neptunes I had left over from the old S70, wasn't a fan but worth the test
Picked up a set of Volvo BBS Eudoras: 18x8 all around
Followed by the R-Design body kits (front and rear fairing as well as side skirts and fender flares)
Picked up a set of BBS RX 17x8.5's in an original plan to go air and get as low as possible
However sold them in the realization I wasn't affording air any time soon
Finally as winter head'd out, I picked up the BBS LM reps, and test fitting ensue'd
Followed by adding tires
Then with springs installed, I had them on the car
Had to do a cheesy euro plate of course
Finally, a touch of creativity since I had no desire to run "BBS" center caps
That's it for now, I'll have the coil overs on as soon as I get them, and dial in the front and rear camber as I can. Thanks for looking.
