My e30 sucks but I love it

Hey I'm Brandon, I'm from a little north of Detroit and I have a '90 e30 on air. I still have a lot of work ahead of me to get it real fresh but here are some pictures I shot right before it got dark tonight.







I still need to:
Get some wheels.
Find a plastic front bumper so I can have matching bumpers again.
Either fix my front valence or find a different one.
Build my exhaust, I already have a set of headers.
Install my WAR chip and MAF
And probably a lot more but that will be a good start.

I need to get off the winter wheels and those giant meaty tires then it will drop further, as it is the front end sits on the tires aired out. I'll post more info and some pics of my air setup later today after class.

In front I used the Air Lift bellow over strut kit with the adjustable dampening short stroke. I actually got these off CL for $200 with everything. In the rear I just used Air House 2 bags and mounted them where the original springs were. For management I'm using Autopilot v2 and it works great. If you got any questions about the install or anything else just let me know. Here are a couple pics

Update

So a little bit of an update here. My e30 was running like poop and dumping mass amounts of oil through the intake, enough that my air filter was soaked. So from everything I read it was most likely rings or valves. I did a compression test and it didn't seem to be rings so I pulled the head off and swapped it out. Now it's running a lot better and I haven't noticed any excessive oil in the intake.

The head cleaned up nicely





A couple quick shots beside Orielly's as it was getting dark. Kinda blurry due to the lack of light and my shaky ass hand. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get some decent pics at this spot on my way to work.

Smaller tires would help a lot to get that thing actually sitting low for bags.

I'm trying to find some decent 16's at the moment without spending a ton of money so I can get off those giant meaty winter tires. Until then it won't be nearly as low as I would like.
