Project: Hure. Sh*tty '86 Jetta.

So, i had bought a 1992 8v Jetta. The k frame rusted away and broke.


So i took the perfectly good motor, trans, interior, and other stuff and putting it in my old 1986 Jetta aka The Whore.






I got the Whore back looking like this.


me and a buddy changed the driver floor board, and fixed the rear door pin (it was rusted away) My buddy helped me fix all the rust. woo

This was the motor and trans going in. I cleaned it up a little and put the polished G60 valve cover on it when it was in the 1992 Jetta


Cleaned and painted the trans.

the motor and trans is in, also got a really good condition Westy setup from a local junkyard for $30! wooot.
And i found some 13inch VW Hubcaps i got for $5.

I guess i'll update this.

It's been painted twice since the White. It was purple, and awful.


This is how it sits now. Just recently i got some Solex ADDHE C40 side draft carbs, Bosal header, side exit exhaust, TT 268 cam, USRT LW lifters, some Ebay headlights, catch can, and i installed some other little things.









Oil pump started to die (thank god for shitty Sunpro gauges)

So i repainted the engine bay and swapped to a 2.0 ABA bottom end. I also added LW flywheel, spec stage 3 clutch, LW pulleys, and a MK1 Diesel FF 5 speed trans. I've been working out a few minor bugs here and there. I also cut out the rain tray and started an E30 dash swap. It's been below zero lately, so i haven't taken much pictures or worked on anything. Just been driving around waiting for winter to go away..haha
