Thanks a ton, man! Always good to hear.

What's your ride like? You're on eGay coils and stock struts, right?

Haha well it shouldn't be so goddamn bouncy that I'm gonna break my teeth on my steering wheel Even raised up to daily it's still kinda bouncy, but bearable.

I believe the last time I measured it it was 2.5" or thereabouts. All the way down (jack points at a smidge over 2" high), the lip was barely off the ground, maybe a half inch.

650lb springs front and 450-550 rear. Although the bounce will be gone and wont kill you. The stiff will. One or the other.

Are you sure that won't blow my Tokicos though?

Haha sorry I didn't mean to come off all pissed, just annoyed. The rear perch seems to be working so far; nothing's broken or anything. I just wish I could figure out how to eliminate the bounce, preferably on the cheap if possible.

Yep. that's my setup. And it actually rides pretty nicely. The whole system is just too soft and allows the pan and trans to scrape.

The reason mine isn't all too bad is because the rates aren't really all that much higher than stock. This doesn't render the shocks useless.

However, since tokicos are basically a stock replacement and your rates are heaps higher than stock, your ride is bouncy. The shocks probably just can't handle the rates.

Not quite true, the Tokicos are 15% stiffer than stock, and they're built for lowered cars. They're just not exactly built for dumped cars haha I think the reason it's so bouncy is because the shock is too compressed for the valving. However, I think with some 3"+ tophats, that should extend the piston out to the optimal range so the shock can do it's job. Since I have the resources to do the tophats, and the time, that's exactly what I'll do and see if it helps.
