Thanks guys, and helllll no, this is never turning into a Celli thread. Anyways, I kept the stock 17s on hand so I can play around with those once the suspension comes in. For now I am going to fix the rust bubbles on the two front fenders. You can see the bubbles right at the top of the arch in the fender in one of the pics up top. The right side is a tiny bit worse. If the rust is too deep, I will just order 2 new fenders, I found some for $75 each. There's really not much else to do until I get suspension. I see what you guys mean now by getting suspension first, it really gives you the flexibility to play around with lowering before you start thinking about wheels. Oh well, once again thanks for the ideas guys. I'm gonna get my stockies wrapped in some new rubber, and I'll throw the on there when I'm fitting the suspension.

I know what it means to "be ballin on a budget" not everyone can afford air suspension or expensive ass wheels right out the box but at the same time, you could have gotten coils first with the money spent on those wheels/tires. Honestly, if you wanted wheels first, I would have gone with OEM wheels, something that aren't usually seen on audi's like Merc wheels, certain VW wheels or something else for cheap. Then roll like that for a while, save up and step your game up to some real wheels.

I saw those wheels you were on off the link you posted and they're so generic....even if they're from a local wheel company. The sizes and offsets are so weak, you could have gotten by getting some stock amg wheels for much cheaper than what you've paid for and had a better look IMO.


I never really liked the Tenzo's and these are a replica of those same wheels, so I don't really like it. Get yourself some Coilovers from ST suspensions and slam that thing.

I almost got myself a 03 c5 at one point but I did very little research on those cars, so I opted out for a b5 a4 instead. Hopefully you can prove us wrong that you can make this work.

Oh man this is gorgeous. That is everything I want. Dat front lip, dat amber delete, dat grill, and most of all dat stance. Not too low, and still functional. Prime example man, thank you for the inspiration.

Those are the exact coilovers I got! ST coilovers are shipping as we speak. I can make this work, brad did^. A budget doesn't mean you cant work, it just means it'll me a bit slower. I was looking to get a b5 s4 actually, same engine but the a4 body, so basically a Stage III b5 s4 can do 0-60 times in less than 3.5 seconds with a good launch. Holding out until car is lowered or stock wheels are put back on.

Forget the fact who manufactured the wheels, they are far to big at that height and pushed out to much as well.

I am glad you like your car OP, that is all that matters. But people are just telling you why it looks funky as-is. Personally those wheels don't suit the car that well, but with a nice drop it could be a lot more convincing.

I wasn't saying my car could stand up to an S4 haha, my car is sooo much heavier. That being said I have seen K04 swaps into A6's that make them easily stand up to S4's... until the S4 gets modded also. The coilovers should be here soon, the tracking info isn't clear yet, will have to get back to you on that.

Thanks man, now that everyone's ****** on my wheels I might have to rethink my rim choice. But that'll come a bit later.

They are just spaced because I lost my stock lug bolts. Or do you mean, a stretch would be nice?
