Fuuuuuck. You should be glad you didn't have this thing back when I lived in Seattle. I would have humped it mightily.

Awesome build by the way . Did you re route your wire harness or just tuck it up?
I havent had to touch my wire harness at all. I know its more of a problem with the ucf10s and early ucf20s but idk.

          lmao

Alright I havent posted any updates on here in a long time! I have been living with my mom for the summer and it took me quite a while to find a job down here so unfortunately there havent been as many additions as I would like.

Earlier this summer we had an event called Cant Fake the Fitment. It was a good time! I took home Best JDM Fitment and my crew got Best Crew Quality.

          The crew

The next event was StanceWars. Its probably the biggest stance event in the NW. I got Best VIP again at this one.

On the way home from the show my tire debeaded on the freeway at like 2:30am lol. I was distracted when I was leaving and forgot to check my tire pressure like i always do and the psi got too low so the tire just popped off. It chewed up the inside of my barrel.

Luckily the tire wasnt damaged at all and it re-sealed no problem. This was a few days later on my way up to get it re-mounted along with my buddy getting tires mounted on his Work Gnosis GS3's.

My car was on the front page of Canibeat.com i thought that was pretty cool

Last month Formula Drift came to Seattle and I got 2nd place Best VIP at the Slammed Society show. FD was so rad I cant wait til next year!

          Me and said friend

Alright so time for some actual progress. We had a little break in the action up here in the NW so I decided I was gonna refinish my wheels. When I originally bought them from VR Wheels the lips were brand new but the faces had some scuffs on them. I dont have many good pictures of the defects but this was one of the better wheels. They were definitely noticeable enough to bother me and all 4 wheels had them.

          Took apart the wheels

Sanded all of the wheels/defects and primed them

Then I decided to repolish the lips while I waited for primer to dry

Cleaned, scuffed, primed, painted and cleared the bolts gold. Turned out pretty good!

I chose to finish the centers in a very similar silver but I added gold flake and rainbow metallic flake that can only be seen in certain light. You really have to see them in person its hard to capture the flake!

Gold flake that you can see in the shade

Rainbow metallic flake. Theres also a video on my instagram that shows the rainbow flake much better! I love how the flake turned out so much!!!

          And the final product!

Thats all for now thanks guys!

            Stunning.

Never ever use fix a flat in a 3 piece wheel. Ever ever ever. Seal will fail.

I would try a different tire man. I stretch 205/40's on a 10 all day long with no leaks. Granted yours are a bit more extreme, but shitty no name tires are your friend. Soft sidewalls FTW. I would recommend nankangs. Cheap enough to burn through a set in 5000 miles too. $76 for a 205/40/18 on onlinetires.com

Thanks man! I have shitty no names haha! They have been great for me tho and lasted a lot longer than expected. Mine were right around that price. I'm fine with the slow leak tho, since I have a tire pump attached to my air tank.
