  • Adam's E30 Sedan

Hey guys my names Adam and I thought I'd throw up a build thread since I've finally gotten her to a point where I'm comfortable sharing.

The day i brought her home.

Then did some maintenance. Timing belt, water pump, tstat, plugs, valve cover gasket, drive belts, oil, coolant.

Went for a test spin after all the maintenance, felt like such a G I had to stop and take a picture.

Got a sony head unit and ***** how it looked in the dash, so I extended all the wires and stuck it in the glove box.

Got a Grip Royal steering wheel.

Got Jom coilovers right before christmas.

The fronts fought me tooth and nail.

How it looked immediately after the install, they settled alot since then.

    Mounted my steering wheel.

Got a black valance to replaced the bent one on the car. Disregard the crooked bumper in the pic, its been fixed.

Painted my bottle caps black, and mobbed around like this for a while.

Got bored and took some pictures in my driveway.

Domo's the only copilot I need. haha.

Then the CPS decided to go out in the parking lot of my work. Replaced plug wires, fuel pump, and the ignition coil in the process.

Doing work in the parking lot

Love this thing to death, but my gas gauge doesn't work!

Then I got some cheap wheels.

    Test fit.

    A little stretch.

Rolled my fenders and spun my coil overs all the way down. Could definitely use some more low so I'll probably pick up some E90 drop hats in a couple weeks.

Absolutely, should be getting e90 drop hats in a couple weeks since the joms are spun all the way down upfront.

bumper still looks kinda crooked to me - Are you going to fix the fender/hood alignment too?
Good start though, I dig the E30 sooooo much. Too bad there's loads of them rolling around. haha

Remind's me a lot of my E30. The wheels set it off so far!
I had JOM's too but my front was lower then that for some reason, the drop hat's should help though!
          Nice work so far!

The bumper is missing the bracket on the drivers side fender, so I think thats part of the problem. And I need a new hood to fix the panel gap since its bent on that corner, But its really far down on the list of things to do.

            And thanks man!

Ya, I don't know why they aren't any lower, everything I've seen says they go way lower than this. When I get E90 drop hats I'll tear the front end apart and see if I can't get any more low out of em.
