  • Small build. My Protege.

Got this 03.5 Mazdaspeed Protégé a couple weeks ago.

Right now it's dropped on Racing Beat springs. Planning to make these fit. 16x8 and 17x10 HRE 525's. The 16's will get relipped though if I can find some.

I love the way they look as is. I do eventually want to get rid of the springs for a full coilover setup. That's no time soon though.

Thanks. They will go on once I find some stepped lips for the 16s. They look goofy at the moment. Lol

Couldn't wait anymore. Had to test them out. Even more excited to get new lips now for the front!

Honestly I think they need to be 17" all around. The Protege body doesn't lend itself well to staggered diameters. Else it looks 100% on point, I dig.

It's gonna be sick once you get them re-lipped in the front! Great start!

Decided to go with a different setup. Work CR Kai 17x8 +32 and 17x9 +28. Liking having 17s all around now. Lol

Rear will need a tad bit of camber.

Yeah it needs dialing in. This was just a straight swap with another guy so I had to work with his tires and all (S2000 fitment). I want to go to a 205/45 tire in the front instead of 215/45. Already have a good bit of rub from the soft springs. I need coilovers in my life. hah
