Learn how to detail a car if the paint was messy, shiny oem silver looks way better than what you've got going on here. All you need is time, patience, and less money than you've spent on that wrap andugly plastic dip.
All you've done to the car by dipping it and sticking those wheels on it is changed it from something that would make me smile for the right reason to something that would make me smile for the wrong reason.

I don't think you understand that the car needed PAINT, not detail work, as I repaired a fender, worked on the bumper and other parts. Now I was not ready to spend 3000$ on a decent paint job, and a MAACO paint job is garbage, it would cause me to need to spend 2x the amount of prep work if ever i do decide to get a paint job. Before pretending you know everything about somebody's vehicle, ask questions, you might learn something. Good day Sir

Depending on where you are in Canada they can be pretty cheap. You can find R32's for like 3 to 5 grand no problem in Alberta, you can get an R32 GTR for about 7k. Of course they're more expensive if modded a lot. R33's are a bit more expensive, like 8 or 9k average. R34's aren't here till next year but I've seen "landed in Alberta" prices of some RWD ones at about 10-11k.


I don't know much about Skylines the states really. They are apparently very hard to get because of the import laws there. Has to be older than 25 years old so I think they just started getting R32's. Any Americans correct me if I'm wrong.

Typically they can range from 15-40k depending on condition/mods. The last one I saw for sale local was 24k i believe, and mostly stock aside from rep wheels and a few engine mods. R32s are my dream car and hopefully I can get one someday.

OP, I like the plastidip, mainly cause it reminds me of the military inspired cars, like the pics you got. Maybe some white military details and it would set it off.

lol at the **** from some people, nothing wrong with dipping the car especially when it peels off...not like your ruined anything. I think once its a little lower itll change peoples minds. I think its looking good where your going with it. I would have probably done the same thing as you if it needed paint badly. Ive dealt with that a few times before and ended up getting rid of the car before the paint could be done.
