  • Pekås e36 coupé build!

    Hello!

My name is Erik, but everyone calls me PK. I´m from Sweden so prepare for some grammar madness!

well. like a year ago i started getting really exited about my first car. i wanted to buy one and make something cool with it for my 18th birthday cause in Sweden you have to be 18 to get a license. i was 17 at the time.

I found a e36 318is that had been slightly crashed but it had almost no rust, had good service history and a pretty nice interior! he asked me for 6500skr(1000$) and i got it for 5500skr(850$) and i drove home happy with my first car!

the front of the car was shit and needed some fixing. the whole right side of the car had dents and scratches ant the front spoiler and the right side front side panel was shit.

i have till December 2013 to fix the car. it´s a big job but if i put myself together and start i will probably finish in time!

my plans is a really low white e36 with some wide 17" that i can drive with style!

    well. after getting home:

    nothing to sheer for..

well. you have to start somewere! i have threads that i write the updates in swedish so i will probably not update as much here, but if you want to look at pics my project is here:

no.. **** it! the paintwork is really bad and the car needs a respray and i love white e36s!

at the moment i´m widening e set of 17" steelies to 9" front and 9,5" rear! its going to be awsome on the car! in front the rim edge is going to be in line with the fender, and rear it´s going to be some poke to get the lower look in the front!

some build pics. it´s not done yet!

just arived home. got them for about 100$ so it´s very cheap! 7" all around :/

stock 17x7 vs the 17x9,5 that´s going to be in rear!

        How its made!

        1.

        splits! haha

        2.

        3.

grind the shit down and don´t forget to make derpface!

        4.

test some way to big tires!

        9,5" and 9"

they will run 205/40-r17 all around

i used a tint film from a local low price market!

some air-bubbles but you cant really see them from outside..

just put it on as it came and then used a heat gun to get it tight in the edges worked great

oh. read it wrong read it headlights

well. just remove old fabric and then spray som contact glue on the headliner and the fabric and then press it on just buy a stretchable fabric!

i used a glue that needed a long time to get sticky, so i could fix ryncles and stuff after aplication

well.. i have to think about that

when i arrived home from school today there was a big package waiting for me

                        blueline coilovers from german ebay

installed them right away the car was to god damn high..

now it is temporarily lowered cause i will put the lip on and stuff so it will roll like this for a while.. i want to go lower though...
