  • static mk1 golf!

so this in my 1983 mk1 golf 50,000 miles on the clock. swapped for my bora. some people might think it was a stupid idea but i dont care

thats how i got her and she stayed like that for all of about 2 weeks then

this is how she looked right after i lowered her. looks nice but the balloon tyres had to go!!
so i pick up these bad boys!

    test fit.

but before i had a chance to put them on the car i got bored of them so i sold them.
front tires were too big and almost illegal so i got some low pros

got a new splitter for the front after ripping the first 1 off when i hit a twig.

    my mates 323 loon

got a new steering wheel as well

then after the msw alloys went i went last night to pick up these.

the car is in the garage at the moment so cant put them on the car yet but will as soon as its back
oh and these arrived in the post today

and this is what i copilot daily (not alloed to drive it yet im not old enough :/)

This car is CLEAN. I love mk1 rabbits and foxes. However, I would suggest putting the factory wheel back on until you can get something legit and period correct. I feel like it really throws the interior off.

Looking forward to the new wheels though!

yeah the old wheels were nice but not really my thing :/

            update....

as the mighty mk1 needs a new engine i thought i should put the star mags on now so i can at least see her in daylight with her new shoes so i got them on.

then i charged the battery and took her up the road to take a few last shots before she gets tucked up in the garage.

in the amount of time it took me to drive around town and up into the car park (about 500m) she got megga hot so i dont think she is very well.
            doors off!

            in we go.

it sure is bud, im sure a body repair shop could mix it for you if you got a sample.

yeah the 323 is my mate, he is looking for some more modified ones for inspiration if you know of any.

yeah i was pretty luck to find one with such low miles and even more so to fine a replacment engine with only 45k on the clock

anyway work started on the mk1 today!!

                              just before i started

                              bit low

looking pretty empty, just the mounts and drive shafts. but i dont have the right tools so will be out tomorrow
