  • My first Stance build - MB w211

    Hello!

My name is David 23 years old from Sweden so my English is not the best. ive spent more time than i think is healty on Stanceworks looking at your guys builds and cars.

Always been in to low cars and have lowered every car i have ever owned, but this is my first real stance build =)

I thought long and hard if i wanted to go static or air on the merc, But i just think static is so much more hardcore so i dident want to be a chicken and install air. ( no offence to you guys with air suspension )

I started working on my w211 E-Class in december so ive spent some hours in the garage since then and i will try to show you guys what i have done since then.

The goal with the car is to get it looking classy and clean and ofcourse with a good fitment =)

i drove last summer on loweringsprings and bbs lm 19" replicas and the car looked like this:

Then i november i put the car in the garage and started to order some parts:

amg lip, amg floor mats and smoke brakelight:

Then i ordered an e63 front with grill and everything, at this time i started to rip off all the paint in the wheelhouse ( not shure if that is the correct word ) and rolled and pulled my fenders, if any of you was woundering i dont want the rest of the e63 kit, i think the original bumper in the back looks much more clean witout any exhaust showing etc, and i am building this car exactly the way i want it to look =) :

My front headlights were a bit worn so i sanded them down and polished them.

The paint on the car was in god shape but not perfect so i drove the car to our local paintshop and they resparyed the whole car and spent about 3 weeks on it =) Before that i had ripped of all the paint in the wheelhoses and painted them upp with rustprotection and "bodyspray" for protection so everything is as fresh underneth as the car itself =)

This picture is when i drove it off for paint =)

when the car was at the paintshop i started to freshen up my plastic "innerfenders"

then i got the car back from paint and started to mount everything again =)

I ordered K-Sport coilovers and i am still waiting on them, and i changed all the sleves etc in the front and the back and sandblasted and painted all the links(?) etc... this took much of my time and money, but like i said before i wanted the car to be fresh everywhere

did som testing with my old rims so i would know what size and ET i needed for my new rims.

some of the old parts that come of the car.

    some random pictures:

Then i ordered new rims: Rotiform SNA 19X10 ET 25

i **** when cars have diffrent widht on the rims in the front and back =)

i also ordered new brakes all around. discs, e-brake, pads etc

then i finaly got my rims!!

then i got my new brakes mounted:

i also ordered and mounted carbon pillars:

picture to compare black and carbon:

then i testfitted the wheels, this is with no spacers, so i am verry pleased that they fitted this well =)

    FRONT:

    BACK:

Then i mounted one of my new tires: 235-35-19 on my 19x10" rim.

    FRONT:

    BACK:

they did not turn out the way i wanted so i ordered new tires, 225-35-19 =)

Then i got ahold of an original steelplate to mount under the engine insted of the plastic one:

My old rearlights did not match with the new brakelight so i ordered new rearlamps that turned out verry well =)

one of the pictures is to compare old vs new =)

and finaly some pictures of the wheels with the right tires =)

so. that is where we are today with the car =)

i am still waiting on my coilovers that will arrive in about 2 weeks so i can finish the car =)

i am sure i have forgot allot of things now but you get an idea of what i have done with the car =)

please be kind with the comments becouse i have given all ive got on this car, at one point i started to eat one meal less a day so i wolud have more money for carparts :-p haha!

i will uppdate as soon as i get more parts and can do more with the car =)

PS! The front side windows are now tinted!

took me 2 years to save up for the car and then i had to start saving for parts so i am getting a bit tired of saving and all that now...... but the only thing i care about is the car so i have no choice =)

I hope you guys will be pleased with the uppcoming uppdates also =)

Thanks for the kind words! =)

Not a big fan of the carbon pillars, but otherwise this is solid. Best of luck!

Those wheels fit great! Some of those shots look like there's not even a tire on them though, haha!

Everything looks really classy so far (except he carbon fiber) so keep it up.

I havent lowered the car to the right height yet, i will let the coilovers set a bit first before lowering the last bit and then also mount some spacers to get a little more poke =)

On thursday i will drive the car to a shop to mount a new windsheild and on friday to another shop to get the whole car polished etc =)

And now some shitty pics from my iphone that realy dosen`t do the car justice :-/
