So yesterday my dad and I picked up 2002 #3. Bought the car site unseen but when we got there turned out to be a euro '02 that was imported to the states. It has some damage so we are going to assess the car and see if its parts or saveable. Hasn't ran since '83 which is a shame.

Today we cleaned out the gold '02 as it was filled with random parts. One of them being a early '02 wheel in pretty good shape which I decided to throw into the green one. Love how these look.

Then while cleaning found this grill badge, from our guess the late 70's early 80's. It will be another addition for the green one.

Well the following parts/random crap on the way for the '02 include:
            Headlight grills
            Good set of grills
            Good Kidney
            Hurst shift knob
"church keys" (old can openers haha)
            Console parts
            Headlight
            clamp-on mirror
            trunk roundel

Lets just say I can't wait for the mail man to start bringing me shit haha

Well came home to some boxes today so I had to go play. First up was putting in my new headlight and new headlight grills. Still waiting on my grills and kidneys to show up.

Then I picked up a old school clamp on mirror, ditched the oem mirror of course.

Next up, I cut down the brackets for my mirror and then painted them black. Also removed the dumb I heart ****** sticker and put on a couple new ones.

The previous owner shaved the handles for the doors so to get by we wired up but I decided to make it a little more permanent. Found a couple "church keys" and wired one up to get an idea on how it would look.

Also got a couple running lights off a 93 Harley Davidson which I'm going to use.

              Took one last shot

Obviously blowing minds up in this bitch haha.

Anywho, my knob came today, just need to drill it out and make it work. Amazingly Hurst doesn't make BMW knobs lol.

Being mind is a small word.
Especially when you manage to add more rust (mine box) to an already rusty trunk area

I'm jelly of the 02 collection you currently have. Must be nice to have a bunch of spare parts around..

Thanks, this will be no restore project, there is a lot of rust so it's more of a have fun car where as the other two are much better in terms of rust.

Well, change of direction lol. Green '02 is being sold... why you wonder...

Well I bought the white '02 off my dad which was in much better shape as he had too many projects. After I get my e21 sold and my green '02, plans are to get rid of that pesky wheel gap.

The Momo wheel is actually mine out of my e21, the previous owner of this one put some money into this one and is in great shape.
