But im sure your parents play a big part in normal living example like roof over head utilities food etc etc i think thats what the last person meant... car is looking amazing keep up the good work
Yeah they do, no doubt. but that's what I mean by no other expenses that someone living on their own would have.
Thanks my dude I appreciate it.
Yeah man it's real easy, couple plastic screws you pop out and things like that. Nah I don't man, just go for it you'll be fine. You've got nothing to worry about
Just to make sure, it's part #11 I am referring to. This is what my tire is rubbing if I set my coils too low. That part is easy to remove? Seems like it wraps all the way down to the bottom and then some. With it gone, does piece #8 flap around freely? Thanks.
Yeah man it's just screws and plastic. You just have to go mess with it dude, takes 5 minutes for both sides. Some parts can be screwed back into place some may need to be zip tied to keep from flapping around. It's simple as hell just go for it
I hear you bro but not necessarily, work hard and save your money. Us teenagers don't have the same expenses to pay as an adult would so its completely do-able. Don't get it twisted... My parents play absolutely no part in this, they think I'm a complete idiot for lowering cars.
There it is. This is what the teenagers of the new XXR generation need to learn. Save up your money, buy quality parts, and build your car right. More teens need this mentality. You sir are a wise one. Beautiful car once again.
Nice car man love what you have done with it makes me want to get rid of my mkV, love the simplicity of your e46. I am local to you in Elliott City hope to see it cruising around, do you head up to tutti or any of the other local get togethers often?

Thanks man! I actually have seen your Jetta at Tutti a couple times. Looks real clean on the bmw wheels. But nah man, i used to go to one in the parking garge at eggspectations but havent for a while. I would go to them if I knew when all the local meet-ups happened
Here are a couple shots by the homie DevinTheTerrible. This how the car is currently sitting still waiting on the adjustable control arms for the rear so I can dial the camber and get more drop out of the car. Couple euro goodies for the exterior coming in as well.
forgot to mention, Video for car coming soon! once the control arms and euro parts are on we will start shooting.
Now that's some exciting news! Glad to see someone is doing it right and hey ain't no shame livin' rent free at your parents house. A lot of people have it twisted, thinking if you can afford doing the things you do to the car, then you should be able to afford living on your own....which is true, to an extent. Some people don't realize that every situation is different but does that stop someone from embracing the situation they're dealt with and making the best out of it? Sure you can live at home but that doesn't mean you're broke or not smart enough to make moves.

Is the front at its lowest setting in these pics you posted?

I mean most 18 year olds are still being supported by their parents anyway and I'm in college man.... Not sure what you were trying to say with all that?
