Drove it for a little while before I had to scrap the lowering springs

wife surprised me christmas day with these thanks wife!

The style 5s werent doing it for me anylonger so I trade plus some cash a buddy of mine for some relics he had in storage

So Its Jan 2013 and I just cant beleive my luck... I reflect and realize I might have been swindled on my trade.. a friend of mine told me about the class action law suit with the eairly model e46's. I thought nothing of it.. then this happen 2 days later

hmm what could make coilover bushing press out like that?

Subframe had nearly torn away from the chassis.. no wonder the guy traded me for my near mint e34....

So here she has sat for almost a month now waiting for parts including Turner Motor sports Reinforcement kit and just the sheer time to spare to fix it

Welding nearly complete







Decided to Fill in all the missing metal with a welding rod and grid it flat

They are corbeau Kahn copys

Subframe had nearly torn away from the chassis.. no wonder the guy traded me for my near mint e34....

No offense but your e34 was far from mint condition. The outside looked good that was about it. Entire suspension was ghetto rigged. Rear coilover was horrible rigged to barely hold so you could get rid of the car. Clutch, master cylinder, ignition all broke within one week of you trading it to my friend. I told my friend to take it to a shop and the guy laughed in his face for how "rigged" to just barely work. The car is now in someone else hands after my friend dropped 3k into fixing it the right way.

Thats not even half the list of what was wrong with it....so for you to call the e34 mint and talk about thats why you got screwed...You screwed my friend on the trad by a long shot.

The e46 my friend had for less than 3 weeks and did no work at all on it. All He did was Daily drive it before he traded it to you. If there was a problem with the rear subframe he didnt know about it at all.

But the e46 is looking good. I like the RD wheels.

I know your not trying to high jack my thread but lets call it quits on that car caz this set me back well over 3k in parts and labor and its still not finshed.

I feel ya. Not my battle or car. But like where your going with the e46. Gonna look killer when you get done. Cant wait to see the interior.
