did some break pads yesterday and checked my rear clearance. i easily could have done 7.5inch barrels or 8inch barrels and spaced the wheels out a little more in the rear which would have made the rears 10.5 or possibly even 11 :wub:


much needed pad change, those were oem after 70k miles

started this yesterday, got all the pieces out in about 30 minutes with help of a friend and wrapped almost everything in 3 hours.
used 2 cans of Loctite spray adhesive and 5ftx6yards of fabric and had plently for headliner, pillars, rear parcel tray and got some left over. Spent $20 of adhesive and $40 on the suede. will finish in a day or two when i get time

also im doing a front seat belt delete since i got 4 point seat belts and not using the stock belts :thumbup:

9 days till fatmans, then a month till sowo!
sent out my v2 management to get reflashed and in the mean time been getting some stuff done
Finally got to cutting these out and painting themso i dont rub anymore :thumbsup:
was gonna replace the bushings but learned that they dont come out and neither ecs, vw, etc makes a replacement bushing :frown:




And then got to cleaning these bad boys :lol:
was actually looking for an air leak, i got a small leak between the barrel and face so im just gonna try and throw some sealant there and see if that works
also started painting the letters on the tires. #becauseracecar



Now just gotta fix some more air leaks in the bags, put it all back together and clean,polish,wax before show season :thumbup:

Had a fun trip to cleveland for a show this weekend LOL
Got the fenders painted up with touch up paint and then threw clear vinyl over it to protect from rubbing tire.
drove up to columbus and chilled with the whole LF crew and then onto fatmans sunday. got rained out but had a good time, took a few shots, go ahead and check em out on my flickr.
Then the fun...
On the way back cracked one of my brand new rotiform barrels :laugh:
frusterated but called rotiform and they sent me a replacement that day for free, should be here tomorrow.
so i decided to buy one size up for tires in the rear. was running falken 512 215/40 on a 10 now going to be doing 215/45. glad i didnt do any bigger, thats already a big step looking at them side by side
