A 65' notchback story

Well locked up the engine this week so decided to start working backwards.



Pulled the motor and got torn it down to find that the rear main bearing had spun and seized on the crank.



Took some persuading to get off...



Hope the case can be saved but atleast it doesn't look like this one....

So sorry about the engine, man. Really is a bummer. The car looks fantastic though. Here's hoping for a quick turnaround on the rebuild.

Got the engine back in


Did a little test fitting


Also modified the inner fenders so someone can actually ride in the back seat





Then went for a 40 mile cruise!



Should be finished up for the most part real soon!
