Got a little work done today, nothing to crazy. Got my ignition back in the column and wired up.

Also got my shift rod coupler on and e brake cables ran. But no pictures of those.

Next was to rebuild the front beam. Spent a lot of time with the wire wheel cleaning off 50 years of dirt and grease.

Also replace the tie rod ends and ball joints while I was there

After getting both beams rebuilt and painted up it came time for the body to go back on.

Also got the transmission back from being rebuilt and had the brakes drilled for 4x100

Got some sweet loaner wheels to roll on until I can figure out what size wheels I need to run.

    Few bonus pictures

More and more cutting and grinding

Then on to the fun stuff, spent a good few weeks welding and grinding to get rid of all the cancer.

Had to make some room for darla in the garage for a few nights. Ol Herman welcomed the company.

    Pans are solid now

Followed up with some seam sealer then primer and truck bed liner. Looks like a brand new pan now.

Ill pause here for now... More to come, sorry for all the pics at once. This project is well past this point now just trying to catch up.

First order of business was to tackle the rust issue..

So after a night of hanging out in the garage a few of us got real motivated

Then I got a set of new rear halves for the pans and got to cutting

    More to come...
