  • The Skoda Wagon

    Hi All,

I thought I would do a quick build thread covering from July 2012 when I bought the Wagon to date…..

I bought the Wagon back in July 2012 for a mere £980.00 from a winning e-bay auction.

The spec when I got it:

Skoda Octavia Elegance 1.8T (150hp) Manual/Petrol and totally standard apart from the Audi TT 17” Alloys.

    Fun info:

It has the 1.8 20v Turbo 150hp (AUM) Engine.

    Fun fact it’s a 4x4 (Haldex System).

When I first got the car home.

    So to the mods/changes.

    Coilovers fitted.

    Some ploy bushes.

    Turbo gauge fitted.

    Grill done black.

    Forge FMIC.

    Lamin-x tinted lights.

Full 2-1/2" s/s exhaust from the down pipe back inc de-cat.

    Braided hoses.

    Silicone TIP.

    Denson plugs.

    Forge DV 007p

On the dyno getting a stage 2 tune @ Jabba Sport and the results @ the wheels were (221 bhp / 278 lbs-ft).

One blue haldex controller (This is the best mod on the whole car!! Awsome piece of kit these).

    3" Down pipe.

    BAM rail & injectors.

    RTAB bushes.

    Neuspeed tie arms.

    Golf GT seats fitted.

Pipe to move the air filter down behinde the bumper.

Lower grill moddified to let air through to the filter and painted black.

    Tow strap.

Neuspeed rear ARB (currently getting blasted and painted).

    Harness.

    8mm Spacers.

    New wheels fitted.

    Still to do.

    Fit the Neuspeed ARB
    Fit the Injectors & Rail.
    Fit the 3" Down pipe.

    Still to buy.

    Upgraded 4 bar fuel pump.
    JBS manifold.
    JBS K04s hybrid turbo.

Then back to be re-mapped with the hope of breaking 300hp.

probs missed loads of buy your get the idea...

    Cheers Craig.

Already said, didn't see those mods coming!

Great work so far, and what a luck of winning the auction.

Perhaps my next ride could be an '06-'08 vRS station, it's still in my wishlist.
Also lurkin' at briskoda.com, very helpfull for stance and modification ideas!
