91 Nissan Hardbody

Well here's sort of an update. I've been busy with school and money has been tight BUT I have been doing my "homework" and thinking what I want to do with the truck. I change my mind pretty much every day which makes it hard to decide haha. I'm pretty certain I'm going to bag it tho. I have some questions tho. Obviously my idol truck has been Ollie's hardbody. I was looking at a pic of his truck and see that he was bagged on leaf springs. I researched a lot about it and basically every says its unsafe blah blah blah.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd appreciate the help. Here's the pic I was looking at.


Also picked up the grip royal wheel I always wanted because my other one was getting warn and I couldn't stand to look at it lol

Got a lot of work done this past weekend. Unfortunately nothing to make it look different. New brake shoes for the rear and new rotors, pads, and wheel bearings for the front. Also addressed the valve cover gasket that has been leaking forever. 3 of the 8 bolts ended up being stripped out.

Just some pics because it actually looks half clean.



Had to drive the mustang for a couple days before I got the right tap to fix the stripped threads. Luckily it didn't rain any of those days lol

Did the plastidip over the weekend. I think it turned out well.




Going to at least keep it like this until after winter. Hopefully by then I'll have an idea of what I want to do with them.

Also I ordered some white plastidip for the wheels to get rid of the black for now. I'm thinking about getting them powder coated in the spring. Just don't know what color yet.
