I must say it looks rather silly. Pick pre-facelift or facelift don't mix the two.
Also the AMG bumper doesn't flow, it would probably help if it was actually a E63 though.

Yep I did, but It didn't disturb the flow of the E39 nearly as much as putting a front bumper like that on a plain jane W211. OP should have at least gone with the E55 bumper and grille if he insisted on going the AMG "look" route.

There's a reason 99% of E39 modders swap to M bumpers, they're cheap and they flow well. This doesn't flow.

But heck I don't even own my E39 anymore, as I realized it wasn't the right car for me.
