  • This is going to take a long time...

This is my first time doing a build thread, anywhere. Pardon me if I do something wrong. Also this is going to take a loooooong time. Maybe this will keep me motivated?

Recently I came across a deal on craigslist, a 1977 porsche 924. Black, with tan interior. He wanted 450 for it, but I had something better, a ttr90 dirtbike. He wanted to trade, and so we did. It had snowed the day after I got it, and I had to trailer it 10 miles back to my house, so I needed to figure that out.

    The day I traded

    Found a cheap tow truck

    Its home!!

Tan interior and sunroof popped out

it has a stupid smile (figured out how to pop the headlights, the motor is broken)

Found this in a junkyard about 20 miles away

Thats all I have for now. Gonna try and drop the tank tomorrow afternoon, I'll update on that

whats the plan for it? The interior looks great considering its almost half a century old.

Hey everyone sorry about that, haven't had time to work on it. It doesnt run because of the fuel system. Its CIS, it needs 65PSI and its receiving 25PSI to the injectors. We opened the tank today and it looks like someoned dookied inside it. The plan is to get it running, find some 4x108 3 piece wheels, and find some coilovers (which is possible!). The interior is almost perfect, other than the dash. Thanks for the kind words!

Did this today. Starting work on this old slut. Plans are some 4x108 or 4x100 meshs along with it running and driving.
                    Other pictures

fuel pump being held on with a zip tie, fixed with crimping and home plumbing shit (not by me, PO)

Bad picture of the inside of the gas tank

what comes out of the tank (poo I think)

fixed the hatch latch with a shim from wood and duct tape

this (stripped 12-point bolt) led to...

this. Angle grinded the shit out of it.

Fuck you porsche, having to drop (or cut) the exhaust off to get to be able to drop the transaxle.
