thanks, man! normal you get the long ones or something like mine for the back of trucks (range rovers or something like that). but we have also quite smaller ones, like the usa size. but in my town its really hard to get them.Originally posted by Fred802 View PostLooks sharp! I really like the shift knob/boot combo you made. Can't wait to see it with the wheels and coilovers.
Just a question- In Germany do you get to choose if you want the long "traditional" plate or the ones you have on now?

You do not need to drill anything. You can use the original holes. At least, that what the PO of mine did.....Originally posted by hypetoday View Postnooo... less hidden surfaces - less rust.
i also do not want to drill 11 holes in my sill for the cladding.
So it should not make any difference compared to the original situation..Last edited by loekaaz; 06-18-2013, 10:20 AM.

Ah those ones. Couldn't find them anymore last time I looked. But thanks for the link!
Oh btw: are you sure? because I think the coilovers will not work as the top linkage in the wheel well is too weak to hold the pressure
EDIT: Forgot the camberplate. Never mind

If you manage to do that (the short shocks), I would like a set of those too

thanks, guys!
at first i will change the original spring rubbers. which are available for this car in 4 versions. depending on the equipment, mercedes has previously installed differently thick gums. i get the thinnest. which again makes about 2 centimeter difference. because of the new wheels, also the rolling circumference is smaller. then we'll see. i need also shorter shock absorbers. we will make some new and shorter ones. unfortunately i'm still waiting.Originally posted by keeton View PostAwesome read...all the small details make the car what it is in my opinion. Those OZs and that Nardi wheel will look so good man! What are you planning on to get lower?
