So the car is looking something like now

Went to the stanceworks meet at Milton Keynes yesterday, 2 hour drive through rain, snow and everything else between but had a awesome day with my mates and thats all that counts

Above photo was taken by my mate simmy from simmy photography

car is on E36 front coilovers with no springs or helper springs fitted, lowering spings with 1 coil removed.

Rear is lowering springs with 1 coil removed again.

I cant believe how difficult people make it on here on how to lower a W124 when its really easy once you get the correct parts

I think most people with w124s are purists somewhat and won't use anything other than w124 specific parts. And cutting coils isn't something they want to do. Lol

I am curious how the ride is though, I'm running bilstein sports and b&g springs with 1.5 cut in the front and 3 cut on the rear I believe, also changed out to 1 bump stops all the way now.

It's surprisingly low and not a stiff ride compared to coilovers I've run before.

I love the way my merc rides on cut factory springs, cant even tell it's been done until you hit the corners.

By the way bump stops, or spring pads?

It looks pretty good. I'm not sure, but from the pic it looks like you need some spacers at the front wheels...

Hah! Spring pads. Lol the stock shocks don't like cut springs, that's the majority of the problem. The sports I put in completely changed the ride of the car.

I can assure you it doesn't need spacing at the front, 25mm spacers up front, 35mm out back, did a 5 hour trip yesterday to the stanceworks meet and it was like a magic carpet.

I've used lowering springs and cut one coil out front & back

Really nice wheel choice and all around build.
