  • Opel Rekord 77

After I introduced myself, I want to present my mainprojekt in detail.
I bought it 2008 in fairly good condition.

    Since a lot has happened.

I swapped the 2.0 carburettor engine with a newer one of an Omega 3000.

    The transmission also

    I bought 8,5x16 215/40 & 8,5x17 225/35 Gotti for an irresistible price.

I bought an old thread suspension (Fiat Bravo) and mix them parts with my existing suspension. I also installed another brake.

I install springs of an Suzuki Swift at the rear axle and complete it with Opel Kadett coilovers.

Actually my car looks like this.

Next, I'll paint it, but firstly i have to manage the space for free rolin wheels.

I like the oldschool Opel. Very cool project. How did you get to know that Swift springs fit?

    Keep on updatin'

And good luck on TÜV and/or oldtimer-certification, if you're going to try.

I have allready added 10inch spacers and the rear wheels are scraping yet.
        Color remains the same.
I'm not sure if particular painting is sufficient, but i try to save most of the original color.

New Rims, but whichone is better? Gotti or Speedline? I'm not sure.
Speedline is 9&10x17 inch but it doesnt fits proberly.
And the Gottis are a hodgepodge by 16&17 inch.

go with the speedlines for a more symmetrical look, also they're wider
